Important information for patients with Humana health insurance plans

We are pleased to share that Trinity Health and Humana have reached a new multi-year agreement that will reinstate your in-network access to the Trinity Health hospitals, facilities, and health care providers you trust retro-effective to October 1, 2025. 

Our in-network status will take approximately 60 days to reflect in Humana’s system. Once we are updated in Humana’s system, you may again schedule appointments and seek care with us as normal. This new agreement ensures you have in-network access to all Trinity Health Michigan facilities and medical groups. 

Thank you for your patience and support as we worked to reach a mutually acceptable agreement with Humana. This will allow us to provide the high-quality care patients and community members like you rely on. We look forward to continuing to serve the community to ensure Health Comes First

Trinity Health and Humana have reached a fair agreement that will reinstate Trinity Health hospitals, facilities, and health care providers in network. Patients may once again schedule an appointment for care without experiencing disruption.

Trinity Health and Humana have reached a fair agreement which means you can visit your Trinity Health facility and doctors for care as normal.

For patient’s enrolled in Humana Medicare Advantage HMO benefit plans, after Trinity Health is updated in Humana’s system, you can keep your appointment or contact your physician’s office directly to reschedule and move your appointment up sooner, as space allows.  For patient’s enrolled in Humana Medicare Advantage PPO plans, you can keep your scheduled appointment.
