Mark Glover

Mark Glover (PGY V)

Mark was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland up until the age of 3. The majority of his childhood was spent in Brazil before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL at the age of 14. Mark can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swiss German. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a BS in Biology and minors in Accounting and Mathematics. He then went on to Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, FL for medical school, where General Surgery caught his attention. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym, watching Tottenham Hotspurs, and traveling. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his wife, Alexandra, and their dog named Bronco.

Mulin Xiong

Mulin Xiong (PGY V)

Mulin grew up in the Metro Detroit and greater Boston areas. She went to Dartmouth College for undergrad and Michigan State College of Human Medicine for medical school. She chose Trinity Health Oakland for the breadth and depth of surgical experiences, diverse patient population, and close friendship of a small residency program. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, and traveling.

Ryan Korlewitz

Ryan Korlewitz (PGY IV)

Ryan is from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California for his undergraduate degree and after 4 years in the sun, headed back home for his medical education at MSUCOM. In his free time Ryan loves to play golf, tennis, travel, scuba dive, and cheer on the Spartans. Ryan is excited to be at Trinity Health Oakland and hopes to eventually pursue a fellowship in plastics, cardiothoracic surgery, or trauma.

Meghan Linz

Meghan Linz (PGY IV)

Meghan was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She was a student at The Ohio State University prior to attending Ohio University in Athens, Ohio for her medical education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Bernese Mountain dog named Denali, cooking, watching OSU football, and trying new breweries.

Harleen Aujla

Harleen Aujla (PGY III)

Harleen was born and raised in Mumbai, India before she moved to Indiana at the age of 15. She went to Indiana University Northwest for undergrad and Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. She is delighted to be a part of Trinity Health Oakland because of the excellent operative experience and resident camaraderie that exists in this residency program. Her surgical interests are in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. In her free time, Harleen likes working out, biking, hiking, cooking, and reading fiction novels.

Corey Suthumphong

Corey Suthumphong (PGY III)

Corey is originally from West Palm Beach, Florida. He went to undergraduate school at the University of Miami and medical school at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He is currently completing a preliminary year in surgery. Afterwards, Corey will pursue general surgery and is interested in a critical care fellowship. In his free time, Corey enjoys home improvement, hiking, and watching car reviews.

Kiranpreet Kaur

Kiranpreet Kaur (PGY II)

I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. I attended University of Maryland, Baltimore County for undergad and went to Edward via College of Osteopathic Medicine (Virginia Campus) for medical school. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, play with our dog Simba, and explore new restaurants and coffee shops. In terms of fellowship, I'm currently interested in colorectal surgery and minimally invasive surgery.

Leah Liu

Leah Liu (PGY II)

Leah was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and medical degree at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Leah enjoys working out, cooking, and hanging out with her cat Sake in her free time.

Imran Ahmed

Imran Ahmed (PGY I)

I was born in Toronto Ontario and had moved to sunny Southern California at a young age where I grew up just 15 minutes from the beach in Irvine. I had studied chemistry at the University of California-Irvine and subsequently moved to Iowa where I attended Des Moines University for medical school. I enjoy spending time with family, watching sports, and staying active in the gym.

Safi Bajwa

Safi Bajwa (PGY 1)

Safi grew up in Southern California. He went to UC Riverside for college and completed his medical degree at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Safi is excited to be a part of Trinity Health Oakland and has interests in Colorectal Surgery, Vascular, and Critical Care. In his free time, Safi enjoys playing basketball, exploring state parks, and spending time with his family.

Jemima Fregene

Jemima Fregene (PGY 1) Prelim

Jemima grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York and earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She is fluent in Spanish and French. Outside of the hospital, Jemima enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, staying active, cooking, baking, and watching TikTok. After completing her preliminary year, she hopes to pursue a residency in OB/GYN

Anmol Pardal

Anmol Pardal (PGY1) Prelim

Anmol was born in Noida, India and moved to Toronto, Canada when she was 7 years old. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Toronto Metropolitan University and worked as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology RN at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). She later attended Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. Anmol is passionate about health policy and advocacy and stays active in the Michigan Osteopathic Association (MOA). She’s currently doing a Preliminary General Surgery year at Trinity Health Oakland and plans to reapply to OBGYN this cycle. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and friends, hitting local trails, and playing board games. A fun fact about her is that she did horseback riding for about 10 years prior to entering medical school.

Michael Sacchetti

Michael Sacchetti (PGY 1) Prelim

Michael was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate and graduate education, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Master of Public Health in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology and Public Health Genetics. He went on to earn his medical degree from Central Michigan University College of Medicine. Outside of medicine, Michael enjoys spending time with his family and their dog, his girlfriend and their dog, golfing, cooking, attending car shows, and following the Detroit Tigers.

Nitin Venkatesh

Nitin Venkatesh (PGY 1) Prelim

Originally from Woodbury, Minnesota, Nitin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and earned his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Nitin is completing a preliminary year at Trinity Health Oakland with an interest in pursuing anesthesiology next year. In his free time, Nitin enjoys playing all types of racquet sports, exploring new foods, and spending time outdoors with his friends.
