Dr. Johnson completed her medical education at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She completed her osteopathic manipulative medicine and bio mechanics residencies at both Michigan State University and Chicago College of Osteopathic medicine. When asked about her philosophy of care, Dr. Johnson said,
"I am deeply schooled in traditional osteopathic philosophy and believe in a holistic, integrated approach to providing healthcare that honors the intrinsic ability of the body to heal itself given the proper conditions and circumstances. I believe in the coordination of conventional and osteopathic services to provide the best tools from both philosophies to serve the needs of my patients."
Her clinical interests include, the use of the osteopathic philosophy in all aspects of health management, integrated and non-invasive alternatives in acute and chronic pain management, as well as infant, toddler, and child care.
